How Much Per Gallon?

Can you believe it? Check the price for a gallon of gas on this photograph: 30.6 cents! That was the U.S. price somewhere around 1955 to 1965. On the readout, there's not even a space for dollars, because folks never imagined the price would go that high. (Click on pic for larger view and to visit my gallery.)
